    He made a good point when he said upper management didn't care until it went viral. Just goes to show that these companies aren't as progressive and liberal as they seem, only when the public tries to force them to be. After reading over his memo a little bit more he doesn't actually say any of the things he's really being accused of. It seems like someone got triggered because they interpreted the memo that way and Sundar was forced to fire him. Shame on Google, and shame on anyone who read a headline and concluded this guy is evil.

    first of all a warning letter and 1 and half hour education class on gender equality is an enough punishment….. Firing him is just stupid from sundar pichai….he is just trying to cover his ass…

    This is total bullshit, males and females are different…. I hope he sues the absolute piss out of them…. and then we can settle this "controversy" once and for all. We could have a much more productive society with a little bit of honesty, don't ya think?
